Fundraising Update- The Opening will work like this…

With the exhibition not far away, I thought I would provide a “fundraising update”, for why have it as a link category and not use it… I am starting to become a little apprehensive now with the enormity of successfully hosting an art exhibition becoming clearer with each day that passes. Note well: I know little (read nothing) about art!! So thankful for the assistance of those supporting me whose very existence is art.

Anyway, here is the latest. Would love you to come along to the exhibition or if overseas, would love to know your thoughts as you are watching this journey unfold.

MC: A former colleague and mate, Steve Theolitcou, will be “Inside Your Head” MC. He is an up and coming funny man who has worked all of his adult life to improve the lives of those youth he has come in contact with.

Break Dancers:  Welcoming the audience as they arrive will (hopefully) be some young men who have supported Justice Crew. Some fine moves to watch for our youngsters who attend.

Art Activties: There will be a community art piece to contribute to, as well as the opportunity to make and take your own thumb print cards.

Raffles: We are talking Bellarine Big 4 weekend away, Black Salt Hamper, Massage and Pamper Pack, Amcal Chemist Pack, Samson & Delilah clothing, Benn’s books prize and a boys & girls pack.

Art Slient Auctions:  If you want to buy the art, you’ll need to bid at the opening. If you can’t attend and have seen some art you would like to bid on, please contact me via email ( will be happy to take your highest bid and add it to the auction. Last minute additions to the artists list: Katie McKinnon and McDrawn.

Art Card: Lovely Miranda from McDrawn has designed and donated APTFs very own card. Very exciting and will be launched at the exhibition.

Framing: Cathie, from The Local Framing Studio, has been such a saviour in donating her time to frame several works for the exhibition. It really is amazing how good framing adds to an artwork’s brillance.

Printing: Ward Caspers of Kwik Kopy, Bayswater, has enabled me to actually market the exhibition. Ward printed 1000 postcards and several posters. Without this support I would not have reached the audience I have.

Would love your feedback, leave a post.
