From Amy Wallis
“I am going to do a painting with the repeated image (below) in different tones and colours.
The meaning behind the piece is the idea that one’s perceptions of their ordinary surroundings appears different dependent on our moods”.
Amy thought of the children’s book “Many Coloured Days” by Dr Seuss, when preparing her artwork for
the Heal thru Art Exhibition. It explores the connections between colour and emotion. A great conversation
generator to talk with your children about their emotions.
Amy is an inspirational Young woman who practises as a Psychologist and uses art as her main means of expression. Her work is gorgeous and heart felt. I can’t wait to see Amy’s end result and I thank her for her contributions thus far.
